Using a Calendar

In this functional activity, special education students use a given date (September 24) or day (3^rd Monday in June) and a calendar to locate information from it. When given a date, students are asked to find the day of that date. When given a day of the month, students are asked to find the date. 

Life Skill correlation: When out of school and in the “real world”, students will need to keep a calendar of events and track events that are required for their job, personal events, family and social events.
