In this activity, special education students calculate how many weeks or weeks and days are from a given number of days. Charts are available to help students determine the closest number of weeks.

Life skill correlation: When out of school and in the "real world", students will need to be able to calculate how many days/weeks when a boss tells them how many days they will be working in a row. This will aslo hlep with determining how long a vacation is and when they need to be back at work.

Functional Level Differences

• Low - only multiples of 7, no days
• Moderate - up to 70 days, use multiplication chart (option)
• High - up to 70 days, use division chart (option)
