Product Information

In this activity, special education students calculate how many hours or hours and minutes are from a given number of minutes. Charts are available to help students determine the closest number of hours.

Life skill correlation: When out of school and in the "real world", students will need to be able to calculate how many minutes/hours they are working or when how long until their break is up and how much time until they need to return for their next day of work.

Functional Level Differences

• Low - Hour & 1/2 hour
• Moderate - Hour, 1/2, 1/4 after the hour, & 1/4 to the hour
• High - up to 5 minute increments
