Roll the Dice

Product Information

In this activity, special education students roll two dice to determine which number is great than or less than the other. The "dice mat" helps train students to organize the numbers with the correct statement (greater than/less than). Student orally or using their communication system state how the numbers are displayed.

Life skill correlation: Students learn the functional skill of determining number order. This lends itself to the students ability to reason if they have enough money in their wallet to buy an item (i.e. is the number of dollars great than or less than the price of the item).

Functional Level Differences

• Low - Traditional dice with dots 1-6
• Moderate - Dice with numbers 1-20
• High - Dice with numbers 1-100
